Heliopolis district
As part of the activities of the “Our Egypt is Green” initiative within the presidential initiative “100 Million Trees” and the “Get Ready for Green” initiative,
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and within the framework of the fruitful efforts of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development, the actual implementation began on Wednesday morning, June 25, 2025, in the presence of:
Mr. Counselor / Mohamed Abdel Wahab – Head of Heliopolis District,
Dr. Samuel Essam – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development,
And Engineer/ Manal Ramadan – General Manager of the Parks Department in the district,
Mr. Ehab Mustafa – Director of the Social Solidarity Department, Heliopolis, Egypt
Mr. Hamed Abdel Latif – Director of the District Head’s Office
Dr. Ashraf Khalifa and Professor Mina Nassim are members of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development.
This is to implement the first phase of the initiative within the district, starting from Al-Ahram Street in front of the Basilica Church and Al-Hurriya Mall (Heliopolis). This is to enhance the state’s efforts towards transitioning to a green economy, intensify environmental awareness programs, and increase green spaces in cities, governorates, squares, and new urban extensions
Al Shorouk City
As part of the activities of the “Our Green Egypt” initiative, within the presidential initiative “100 Million Trees” and the “Get Ready for Green” initiative,
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and within the framework of the fruitful efforts of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development, on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in Al Shorouk City, and in the presence of:
Mr. Engineer / Bassam Muhammad – Head of Al-Shorouk Authority,
Mr. Engineer/Hussein Al-Ahmadi – Vice President of Al-Shorouk Authority
Mr. Dr. Samuel Essam – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development,
Mr. Engineer/ Nabil Jarida – Director General of Agriculture at Al Shorouk City Authority,
Mr. Dr. Ashraf Khalifa, Member of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development
This is to implement the first phases of the initiative within the western road / link between Suez 1 and Ismailia Road (inside Al Shorouk City in front of Al Shorouk 2000 area).
This is to enhance the state’s efforts towards transitioning to a green economy, intensify environmental awareness programs, and increase green spaces in cities, governorates, squares, and new urban extensions.
Badr City Authority
As part of the “Our Green Egypt” initiative, within the presidential initiative “100 Million Trees” and the “Get Ready for Green” initiative, under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, on Monday, July 7, 2025, in Badr City, and in the presence of:
Mr. Engineer / Mohamed Abdel Aziz – Head of Badr City Authority,
Mr. Engineer Hassan Al-Khayyat – Vice President of Badr City Agricultural Authority
Mr. Engineer / Tamer Eissa – Director of the Agriculture Department, Badr City Authority
Mr. Ehab Mustafa – Director of the Social Solidarity Department, Heliopolis and Badr City
Mr. Dr. Samuel Essam – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development,
Mr. Dr. Ashraf Khalifa, Member of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development
Dr. Narmin Al-Qammah is a member of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development.
This is to implement the first phase of launching the “Our Green Egypt” initiative in and around Badr City
1) First District (Freedom Square)
2) The entertainment area (the entrance to Badr City from the Suez Road)
3) The area facing Badr City Authority and the Russian University
4) The Rubiki Road from the Suez Road leading to the New Administrative Capital, extending to the Capital Gardens and the city of 10th of Ramadan
This is to enhance the state’s efforts towards transitioning to a green economy, intensify environmental awareness programs, and increase green spaces in cities, governorates, squares, and new urban extensions.
East Nasr City District
As part of the activities of the “Our Egypt is Green” initiative, within the presidential initiative “100 Million Trees” and the “Get Ready for Green” initiative,
As part of the fruitful efforts of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in the East Nasr City district, and in the presence of:
Major General – A.H./ Ahmed Gouda – Head of the East Nasr City District,
Mr. Dr. Samuel Essam – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development,
Mr. Hussein Amin Ali – Director of the Social Solidarity Department, East Nasr City
Mr. Dr. Ashraf Khalifa, Member of the Board of Trustees of the San Giovanni Foundation for Development
And Ms. Professor Safaa Mohamed Fawzy – Director of the Parks and Agriculture Department in the district.
This is to implement the first phase of launching the “Our Green Egypt” initiative in the eastern district of Nasr City.
